About

Amanda Cox is a third generation southern Californian, and granddaughter of illustrator and artist, Keith Lee, who was the initial inspiration and driving force behind drawing, painting and creating.

Little Salt Wagon started way back way back in 2011 as a casual blog sharing and gleaning creative inspiration. In an effort to tap back into her creative roots, Amanda started selling more affordable artwork in the form of prints and cards in 2017 during the Thomas Fire and Little Salt Wagon as a small business was born. Drawing from her life growing up in a more rural and beautiful little nook of Ventura county, her inspiration for cards, prints and paintings come from childhood, travels around the west, and the California coastal and a little bit country community she's surrounded by and honored to be a part of.

Since then she has expanded her work to original plein air landscape oil paintings in addition to her smaller works which you can find on Etsy
